Children & TEENS

FAMILIES

I provide children and teens with a safe, supportive space to explore and process their experiences beyond traditional talk therapy — through play, creativity, and their own unique ways of expressing themselves. I utilize child-led play therapy and sand tray therapy to help children build confidence, develop emotional awareness, strengthen a sense of safety, and explore their inner worlds at their own pace.

I support children and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, OCD, giftedness and twice-exceptionality (2e), self-esteem challenges, bullying, divorce, grief, adoption, school transitions, emotional regulation, gender identity exploration, sensory processing differences, and trauma.

I support families in strengthening communication, connection, and understanding during times of developmental transition through a blend of play therapy and talk therapy. I work with parents and caregivers to navigate the complexities of co-parenting after divorce or separation, helping create a sense of consistency, security, and support for children while honoring each family’s unique needs and dynamics.

I incorporate principles from the RIE approach and attachment theory to nurture stronger bonds, build trust, and support more attuned relationships within the family system. I am committed to creating an inclusive, culturally responsive space where all families and individuals feel seen, respected, and supported.

ADULTS

My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, support, and curiosity. I integrate mindfulness, dream work, and self-compassion to help clients find meaning during challenging times, deepen their self-understanding, and move toward a more authentic expression of themselves. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the parts of themselves they may struggle with or view negatively, approaching these experiences with curiosity and compassion to understand where they come from and how they can be transformed.

As a musician, I have a deep appreciation for the complexity of creative lives. I often work with artists and creative individuals to cultivate greater depth in their creative practices, navigate the challenges of creative expression, and reconnect with creativity as an essential part of daily life.

ABOUT ME

I was raised in New York City and Los Angeles - two places that have influenced my love for art, self-expression, and connection. I began attending therapy as a teenager and found the warmth of a therapeutic relationship essential in my development as a young person and beyond. I earned my undergraduate degree from Bard College and received my masters in couples and family therapy from Alliant International University.
